Visitors are welcome at Buttrums Mill. Please note that, although maintained by Suffolk County Council, the mill, house and grounds are privately owned by Mr. and Mrs. M. Whitworth.
Please respect the owners' privacy and do not leave litter around the mill. Take special care when ascending or descending ladders in the mill. They are very steep. Children must be under adult care at all times. Some floors are cramped for space so it may be necessary to wait a few moments before climbing to a new floor. Please do not smoke in the mill.

Open Saturday, Sunday and Bank holiday afternoons 1pm-5pm for guided tours. See the old way of milling (all the old grinding equipment intact) and see flour ground, using modern stone grinding machines. Flour and Bread Mixes for sale.
Adults £2.50 children free but must be accompanied by an adult.
