The cottage in the background is Sandpit Cottage where
Pam's Aunt Beaty was born.
It was extended during the 1980s.
The Wedding Photos - 1963
Pam Ling is Ron Burrell's bride.
Pam Burrell (nee Ling), Joanne Lemelin,
Ronald Lemelin, Elizabeth Burrell, Jackie Burrell, Mr Ling,
Mrs Ling, and Veronica Lemelin. All standing under
the plum tree in the back garden. The photo was taken in
June 1984 when Ronald Lemelin graduated from Woodbridge
American High School. Joanne Lemelin was born at No
1 The Sands in 1964 in the front upstairs bedroom.

Pictures by Ron
Burrell, now of Aurora, Colorado. Photo above from January
2003.
Less happy times for Ron, November 1993
I shall never forget the little favour that Linn did for
me at Snape Church.
This was the last time I visited the grave of Pam's Mum and
Dad.
I think it was the worst day of my life.
This is what the Spar shop and fish and chip restaurant looked
like in November 1993. See the big picture window upstairs
that overlooks the street? That was where we lived in 1963.
We did not have to go far for some of the finest Fish N Chips
in the Kingdom. This is where Princess Margaret got hers too.
It was later a B&B named the "Last Plaice" - two puns on the building's history!
Looking down Priory Road or Sandy Lane. The Sands in the distance. The Golden Key pub on the left that is owned and operated by Maxwell Kissick-Jones and his lovely wife Suzy.
Photo taken of a photo that hangs on the wall inside the
Crown. It was of the flood back in 1953 when water flooded
the street. The living accommodations at the Snape Maltings
was also flooded.
This is what the garden looked like before they built that new cottage. The trees along
the flint and stone wall were grown from seedlings. I have
similar ones planted in our back garden.
The plum tree in the back garden was planted from a pip. Look at it now. I am going through some video tape that I took on my last visit in November 1993. Sure makes me homesick.
The chap that you see in this photo went to school with Pam.
I have an old school photo of him wearing knee shorts. The
lovely lady sitting next to him is his wife Barbara who used
to run the Snape post office.
They have also been known to sell fish and chips at the Bentwaters Roundabout. Even the Russians thought those A-10's ran on Fish N Chips!!! Maybe they did!
Mr Dann also worked at the Motor Pool at Bentwaters in the tool room.
