Councillors from Woodbridge Town Council have voted to award the Potter Cup (and cheque for £50 for the period 2009/2010), to Mr Brian Andrews, the Pedestrian Road Sweeper for Woodbridge for raising the profile and vitality of the Town.
The cup and cheque were presented by the Town Mayor, Councillor Les Binns before the meeting of the Town Council at the Shire Hall, Woodbridge on Tuesday 12th January 2010.
The Potter Community Cup is awarded each year to an individual or organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to the life or name of the town in the preceding twelve months and nominations are sought each year from members of the public.
