After a week of pretty miserable weather, including about two days of incessant rain, the weather looked as though it would make the 2008 Woodbridge Regatta a washout. But no, on Saturday the rain eased and stopped, and Sunday morning started with a clear sunny day.
By the time the Regatta got under way, it was almost total sun all day with the odd cloud being a blessing to allow a few minutes' cooling respite. an amazing turnaround. And thousands flocked to Woodbridge for the Regatta, pictures from early in the afternoon, below:
